The Texas Rangers

Texas Rangers (formerly known as Washington Senators) is a professional baseball franchise and a member of the Western Division of American League. The team was established in 1961 as an expansion team of American League and after financial crises and change of ownership hands several times, the team moved from Washington, D.C. to Arlington, Texas in 1971, named as Texas Rangers.

The team used to play its home games at Griffith Stadium (1961) and RFK Stadium (1962–1971). After re-branding as Texas Rangers the team began playing at Arlington Stadium (1972–1993) and Rangers Ballpark in Arlington (1994 on-wards).

The team owns a very long list of individual batting and pitching records as well as club batting and pitching records.
